The story of Allied would be incomplete without including the life and legacy of Evan Contorakes, a dear friend whose brilliance and creativity shaped the company which stands today. Evan, who sadly and unexpectedly passed of COVID-19 in 2020, was a trailblazer in the advertising industry.

Having established his first agency at just 32 years old, Evan was an extremely successful businessman who eventually led his agency to be the youngest to create a Superbowl ad. Prior to his involvement at Allied, he worked with companies such as Carnival Cruise Lines, The Four Seasons, University of Miami, and more, showcasing his hard-working and dedicated nature to all those he encountered. At Allied, Evan played an integral role in creating the look and feel of our brand— masterfully developing a strategy which solidifies us as leaders in our field and sets us apart from our competitors. Amongst so many more indispensable contributions, Evan designed our logo and tri-logo, created our “We R Allied” URL and slogan, and envisioned our signature brand standards vehicle. With his unrivaled expertise, talent, and dedication, Evan developed the brand persona and values we continue to instill today.

Most importantly, however, Evan challenged us to escape our comfort zone, empowered us to dream big, and energized us to make those dreams come true. We were extremely blessed to have had him with us, albeit even for a short while. Within our company, Evan’s legacy lives on through the impacts he made not just on our day-to-day operations, but the bigger picture of who we are and what we do. We are grateful for all he has done for us, and are humbled to honor him in this small way.
