Why Choose Allied — Florida’s Milestone Inspection Leaders
For more than three decades, Allied Building Inspection Services has been one of Florida’s most trusted inspection and engineering firms. Since 1993, our team has completed over 350,000 inspections, giving us unmatched real-world experience across high-rise condominiums, coastal buildings, mid-rise communities, and aging structures throughout the state.
We have performed thousands of safety inspections for condominiums and cooperatives across Florida — including structural evaluations, building recertifications, Milestone Inspections, and reserve-study-related assessments — making Allied one of the most experienced and reliable inspection providers in the state.
When you choose Allied, you benefit from:
-
Engineer-led evaluations built on decades of field experience
-
Clear, comprehensive reports your board can understand and rely on
-
A dedicated Client Experience Team guiding your association from inspection through approval

Integrated support when pairing MSI with SIRS or SIRS+Plus for complete compliance
Our experience is your advantage — and your association benefits from a team that understands Florida buildings, compliance requirements, and the structural conditions that keep communities safe.
The Milestone Inspection focuses exclusively on the structural systems of your building. It is essentially the structural equivalent of the Building Safety Recertification (BSRI) required in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties but applies statewide under Florida Statute §553.899.

Regulatory Update: HB 913 (Effective July 1, 2025)
Florida’s House Bill 913 reinforces Milestone Structural Inspection requirements statewide. Associations must incorporate MSI findings into their Structural Integrity Reserve Studies (SIRS) and long-term maintenance plans.
HB 913 also:
-
Extends the initial SIRS deadline to December 31, 2025
-
Introduces new board transparency & financial reporting rules
-
Authorizes local jurisdictions to enforce earlier deadlines in coastal zones
Allied ensures every report aligns with HB 913 and Florida Building Code standards.
